Guarantee regulations

Bicycles, bicycle frames and components (hereinafter referred to as the object of purchase) are covered by a 2-year warranty. The company Nox Cycles GmbH guarantees that the object of purchase is free of defects in material, function and workmanship in accordance with the current state of the art. The agreed quality also includes that the specifications of the delivered object of purchase may deviate slightly from the specifications of the ordered object of purchase.

The warranty period begins with the handover of the object of purchase by the specialist dealer or Nox Cycles GmbH to the customer. To prove the date of purchase or handover, please keep the proof of purchase for the duration of the warranty period.

No guarantee claim exists with:
- improper use
- operating errors
- functionally determined wear, unless it is a matter of production or material defects. These include: Bicycle chain, sprockets, chain rings, shift rollers, bearings and axles, shift and brake cables, brake pads, brake discs, rims (for rim brakes), tyres, handles, guide bushings and seals on suspension systems
- Damage that may result from improperly performed repairs, conversions or additions 
- Accidental damage, unless caused by a product defect
- Damage to surfaces caused by weather, moisture and environmental influences (especially salty air)
- Damage to the surface due to improper cable laying
- grossly negligent and wilful damage 
- improper cleaning, e.g. by high-pressure jets, caustic cleaning materials or similar

Warranty claims must always be asserted upon presentation of the proof of purchase. In general, Nox Cycles will be consulted for a decision and the final decision will be made there. With the purchase of the bicycle, the buyer accepts the guarantee provisions without restriction.
