NOX Opens New Headquarters in Austria

Last Friday, May 13, 2022, Nox Cycles opened the company's new headquarters in Schlitters together with around 200 exclusively invited business partners and stakeholders involved in the construction. The new building, nicknamed "Fort NOX" with a wink, brings together production, administration, warehouse, a showroom and the in-house testcenter. Three million euros were invested in the state-of-the-art building.

The program of the celebrations included a bike jump show with dirt bike legend Timo Pritzel and the NOX brand ambassadors Christoph "Shizzle" Eder and Marco Haderer as well as a NOX test track with an obstacle course. The local community welcomed NOX with a musical performance by the traditional Schlitters brass band.

Josef Margreiter, Managing Director of Lebensraum Tirol Holding, remembered the ground-breaking ceremony a year and a half ago. "I take my hat off to how such a Fort NOX was set up in such a short time and despite the pandemic and global supply bottlenecks," he congratulated the Sommers on the opening. "This competence, quality and passion that Nox Cycles brings with it strengthens our sports and tourism region in Tyrol eeven more," continues Margreiter.

The mayor of Schlitters, Josef Wibmer, also warmly welcomed the company to the new location and is looking forward to "successful cooperation with such an innovative company".

Expansion at all levels

The new building, designed to be sustainable and resource-saving, is now 3,500m² with plenty of space for production, storage, spacious offices, showroom and test center. With the new production area, production output can already be doubled in 2022 compared to the previous year. "With this expansion of the company, we are not only improving the conception and production, but also creating space for sales events and exhibitions as well as numerous new jobs," explains Managing Director Carsten Sommer.

Nox Cycles Testcenter

Part of the opening was also the starting signal for the in-house testcenter. Prospective buyers and customers who want to extensively test ride a specific model or different models from the manufacturer get their money's worth here - in the Zillertal Alps, which is ideal terrain for e-mountain bikes. So if you are still not sure which frame size is the right one or which motor fits best, the NOX experts are the best place to go.

The desired model can then only be bought in specialist bike shops. "As a manufacturer, our main business is and remains the development and production of high-quality e-mountain bikes - we leave sales and service to our selected bicycle dealers, with whom our customers always have a competent contact person in their vicinity," explains Sommer.

The NOX testcenter in Schlitters will be open every Tuesday to Saturday from Saturday, May 14, 2022. Registrations for test rides are accepted at testcenter@noxcycles.com. More information at noxcycles.com/testcenter.
