On April 28, 2025, the time had finally come: rally legend Walter Röhrl visited Fahrrad Böttcher for the official handover of his new NOX e-bike. He also took the opportunity to host an exclusive autograph session, delighting numerous fans. The two-time World Rally Champion, four-time winner of the Rallye Monte Carlo, and passionate cyclist was highly impressed by the latest technology:

“I've been riding bikes for more than 40 years—road bikes, hardtails—but at 78, I've noticed that the mountains seem to get steeper every year. Whenever I set off, it's always 10 kilometers downhill first—but no matter which direction I go, there's at least 500 meters of climbing waiting for me. That definitely gets me breathing hard. And my doctor says that a heart rate of 170 when you're almost 80 isn't exactly healthy.”
