NOX Managing Director Marco Klimmt presented Austrian national team head coach Ralf Rangnick with his brand-new e-bike.
Ralf Rangnick Becomes the New NOX Brand Ambassador
German football mastermind and current head coach of the Austrian national football team, Ralf Rangnick, is now riding on two wheels with electric assistance—and on a NOX! The partnership was officially sealed with the handover of his individually configured NOX Epium on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at our headquarters in Schlitters.
“I've always enjoyed cycling at home—but with a premium bike like this, it's a whole new experience! At my age, with all the climbing involved, having a little motor certainly doesn't hurt,” Rangnick says with a smile. His new e-bike is the perfect fit for his home near Lake Obertrum and reflects the coach's sporting philosophy: movement, nature, and technology in perfect harmony.
As a regional manufacturer, we are naturally delighted to welcome such a distinguished new ambassador:
“Ralf Rangnick is not only an exceptional figure in sport, but also represents quality, vision, and sustainable mobility—values that have always been at the heart of NOX,” says NOX Managing Director Marco Klimmt.
With Rangnick, another well-known personality joins the growing family of NOX riders:
Mountaineering legend Peter Habeler, rally icon Walter Röhrl, former alpine ski racer Stephan Görgl, and musician Franz Posch have all relied on our dependable e-bikes for years.
Sporting quartet (from left): senior cyclist Toni Silberberger, two-time World Rally Champion Walter Röhrl, Austrian national team head coach Ralf Rangnick, and ORF folk musician Franz Posch.
Personal and approachable: During the autograph session at Fort NOX, Rangnick took plenty of time for football fans of all ages.
The partnership with Rangnick highlights our strong connection to the Tyrol region and elite sports. As a dedicated brand ambassador, Rangnick demonstrates that he is just as approachable and connected to nature off the pitch as he is successful on it—while making a clear statement in support of regional products. A great example is his recent collaboration with Gloryfy, our neighboring company in Schlitters, where he launched his own eyewear collection.
