An international expert jury awarded the light e-mountain bike NOX EPIUM with “Gold” in the category “Excellent Product Design – Bicycles and E-Bikes” as part of the German Design Award.
The EPIUM convinced with the unique combination of design, innovation and quality. The jury justified their enthusiasm as follows:
“The full carbon monocoque frame weighs less than 3 kg in total, which, in combination with the perfectly integrated and quite powerful drive (FAZUA RIDE 60 with 60 Nm torque and 420 Wh battery power), promises maximum riding fun. The fact that the geometry can be optimally adapted to the needs of the biker increases riding comfort even further. An excellent design that reflects innovation and uncompromising quality down to the smallest detail.”
Developed and produced entirely in Europe, the NOX EPIUM is currently one of the most advanced and sustainable e-mountain bikes on the market. Each EPIUM is unique with a carbon frame, produced in Portugal. The three colors "Mars", "Jupiter" and "Moon" are painted by hand in Bavaria. With the compact FAZUA drive from the Porsche E-Bike Performance GmbH, it is up to date: light, powerful, athletic and without detours through the Far East.

The German Design Award
The German Design Awards are the premium award of the German Design Council. Since 2012, the German Design Awards have been identifying significant design trends, presenting them to a broad public and honouring them.
