A new exciting update for the BMZ RS/Sachs RS motor has been released! The RS 1.5 software upgrade offers an innovative further development for e-mountain bikes!
The main innovation is the adaptive mode for the two middle support levels. The mode enables a more dynamic support for improved responsiveness and a more natural riding feel. The assistance factor is then based on the input of the user torque (via the pedal), the current power development and the rider's speed. In the E-MTB/Touring sector, this results in improved efficiency and a longer range.
The new riding feel has become much more harmonious: Controlled when starting off at low speeds and with full RS power as the cadence and speed increase.
The RS 1.5 update can be easily installed on all BMZ RS and Sachs RS systems. All NOX deliveries since mid-September 2023 already have the update installed ex works. Contact your NOX dealer or our headquarters in Austria for your update.
